Hetzner-IPv6-IX

Many of us have a IPv6 tunnel outside the hetzner datacenter and have an own subnet which is from /64 till /48. Also many of us serving content/services over IPv6.

What it will give to us:

  • better transfers and times between our networks, no round outside datacenter and then back
  • free traffic, as far traffic inside datacenter is no QoS'ed (not sure) and collected
  • reduce hetzner outside traffic (hetzner admins should be happy)

What it must not give us:

  • default route (route to the rest of IPv6 world)
